Growth is highlighted as the recommended plan

The Growth plan is marked as the recommended option during plan selection because it unlocks AI features that provide the most value for teams analyzing test failures.

Subscription status

Your subscription can be in one of three states:

  • Trial — A free evaluation period. The TrialExpiryBanner is displayed in the platform header when your trial is active, showing the number of days remaining.
  • Active — A paid subscription is active.
  • Expired — Your trial or paid subscription has lapsed. AI features are gated until renewed.

Growth-only features

The following features require the Growth plan:

The full-page AI chat interface (/ai/:conversationId) and all conversation history features are only available to Growth subscribers. Attempting to access Ask AI on Starter shows an upgrade prompt.

Storage and retention

  • Storage is measured by the total size of uploaded test run logs. The platform displays your current usage as a percentage of your plan limit.
  • Retention is the number of days test run data is kept. Runs older than the retention limit are automatically deleted.

Managing billing

Only organization admins can access the Billing settings. Navigate to Settings → Billing to:

  • View your current plan and subscription status.
  • See billing cycle and next renewal date.
  • Manage invoices.
Admin-only access

Billing settings are protected by the AdminGuard. Non-admin members see an "Access Denied" message if they attempt to navigate to the billing page.

Upgrade prompts

The platform surfaces upgrade prompts contextually:

  • TrialExpiryBanner — Displayed in the top header when a trial is active, with days remaining.
  • AllCapabilitiesDialog — Accessible from the navigation to compare plan features.
  • Inline upgrade prompts — Shown inside AI features (Ask AI, Insights tab) when the current plan does not include the requested feature.

Selecting a plan

If you skipped plan selection during onboarding or are on a trial, you can change plans by navigating to /select-plan or through Settings → Billing.
