Integrations Overview
Connect TestRelic to your existing tools — GitHub Actions, Jira, Grafana Loki, Amplitude, Slack, TestMu AI, and BrowserStack — to centralize your quality engineering workflow.
TestRelic integrates with the tools your engineering team already uses. Connecting an integration enriches the platform's data and unlocks additional capabilities in the session workspace, monitoring, and AI features.
TestMu AI
Cloud Farm — org-level connection with per-repository build filters and product choice.
BrowserStack
Cloud Farm — org-level connection with per-repository build filters and product choice.
Amplitude
Analytics — capture analytics events during browser test sessions and compare test navigation coverage to real user journeys.
GitHub Actions
CI/CD — build timelines in the session workspace, links from test runs to workflow runs, and workflow re-triggers from the platform.
Jira
Issue tracking — link failures to existing Jira issues, quick-create issues from sessions, and AI-assisted matching.
Grafana Loki
Logs — correlated log viewing inside the API test session workspace so you can align failures with log lines from your Loki stack.
Slack
Collaboration — run /testrelic from any channel to query Ask AI, schedule weekly QA digests, and share dashboards or test plans.
MS Teams
Collaboration — bring Ask AI into Microsoft Teams to query test data, post QA digests, and share dashboards or test plans.
TestRelic MCP
IDE & AI assistants — Model Context Protocol server for Cursor, VS Code, and other hosts.
Connected Apps
Rolling out
Connected Apps lets you connect tools such as Amplitude, Jira, Grafana Loki, and GitHub so that TestRelic's AI — through Ask AI and the MCP server — can use them directly while answering questions and acting on your behalf (related to the MCP apps capability). This is rolling out gradually and may not yet be available on every plan or organization. The full list of connectable apps and rollout details will be announced as the feature becomes generally available.
Managing integrations
Navigate to Settings → Integrations to see the integration marketplace. Each integration card shows:
- Connection status — Connected (green), Not connected (gray).
- Configure — Opens the connection dialog for that integration.
- Disconnect — Removes the integration from your organization.
Integration status is organization-wide. Any admin can connect or disconnect integrations. Connection changes are logged in the Audit Logs (see the Cloud Platform section).
Integration gating in the UI
When an integration is not connected, the session workspace shows a Connect integration banner in the relevant tab. You are not required to connect any integration — all integrations are optional enhancements.
Integration data and privacy
- Integration credentials are stored securely server-side and never exposed to the client.
- The platform uses a proxy service to communicate with third-party APIs — your integration tokens are never visible in the browser.
- Integration usage is logged in audit logs for admin visibility.
How integrations connect
Nightly Observatory
Deep analysis of overnight test runs with KPI strips, heatmaps, failure constellations, duration fingerprints, suite burn rings, and flakiness matrices.
TestMu AI Integration
Connect TestMu AI at the organization level with username and access key, then scope builds per repository using Cloud Farms settings.
